The amount of the fee is determined by the Rector’s Directive valid for the academic year in which the admitted applicant is to begin their studies.

Applicants with education completed abroad
For applicants that have completed their secondary (high school) education abroad, equivalency will be ensured for the purposes of evaluating the admission conditions to study at STU. This means that the grades awarded during studies at a foreign secondary school will be converted into the Slovak grading scale according to the grade conversion manual for foreign secondary and primary schools, which is published on the website of the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic.
The applicant does not need to send a request for grade conversion to the Ministry of Education, Research, Development and Youth of the Slovak Republic, it will be done by the relevant part of STU to which the applicant has submitted their application for study.
