Conditions for entry to the Slovak republic
Information on conditions for granting residence to third-country nationals for the purposes of study in the Slovak Republic, on certain obligations of third-country nationals and obligations of schools in the field of residence of foreigners pursuant to Act No. 404/2011 Coll. on Residence of Foreigners and Amendment and Supplementation of Certain Acts, as amended.
EU/EEA/Switzerland
Nationals from European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland are required to prove valid passport (or valid ID card) when entering to the Slovak Republic.
Other countries
Nationals from other countries must apply for visa at the Embassy or Consulate general of the Slovak Republic in their home country.
How to get to Bratislava
Bratislava is easily accessible by international trains, buses and by airplanes landing at the Airport of M.R. Štefanik in Bratislava or at Vienna airport Schwechat in Austria. From Schwechat it takes one hour bus ride to Bratislava.
Registration for study
Students must visit Student Affairs Office of the faculty (Students Affairs Office is in the Slovak language "Študijné oddelenie" or "Útvar pedagogických činností" or "Pedagogické oddelenie") and register for current academic year. Students will receive unique identification number and a student ID (identification) card.
