European Union citizens attending health care services must prove valid:
- European Health Insurance Card and a passport or ID card.
Majority of the health care costs are covered by health insurance.
Certain medical treatments and medicines must be paid in full amount.
It is recommended to arrange also additional commercial insurance in home country before departure to the Slovak republic.
