Students life and community
Enjoy your youth.
Student life is a period when friendships are formed, new interests are discovered, and preparation for the future takes place. At our university, it's not just about education, it's a lifestyle.
In the center of Bratislava, we have four dormitories (Mladá Garda, Bernolák, Suvorák, Wilsonova), one in Mlynská dolina (Mladosť), and also one in Trnava (ŠD M. Uhra).
Prices range from 70 to 150 € per month, depending on the room type (bunk system, rooms with 1/2/3 beds, with bathroom and toilet). Most of them have already undergone reconstruction. The allocation of accommodation is decided by the accommodation committee of the respective faculty/institute. Typically, it is available to first-year students whose permanent residence is at least 20 km away from the place of study.
For private accommodation, which you can arrange with your classmates, you will pay approximately 300 - 800 € per month/person.
You can have breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the dining halls of our student residences. Throughout the day, dining halls and buffets are available directly at the place of study or at nearby faculties. You can always choose from a variety of meals, and we also cater to vegetarians. Your student ID card functions as a meal card in all our dining facilities.
Not satisfied with just studying? Get involved in student organizations and experience the unique university atmosphere. In addition to gaining valuable experiences, you'll also find plenty of fun and friendships for a lifetime.

Similarly, students in selected fields of study and those going on international mobility can receive scholarships.
The amount of the social scholarship depends on jointly assessed persons and their total income.
Specific situations can be discussed at the university / faculty. The distance of more than 30 km from the permanent place of residence also affects the amount of the social scholarship.
