Description:
Laboratory of molten salts is used for high temperature applications, particularly research at temperatures up to 1100 ° C. There are four furnaces with controlled heating and controlled inert atmosphere, one furnace for temperatures up to 1400 ° C in air atmosphere and a DTA/DSC/TG apparatus for temperatures up to 1450 ° C with a unique device permitting carry out experiments in corrosive atmospheres. Electrochemical studies at high temperatures are performed in the laboratory usually (by means of an electrochemical analyzer Solartron). There is also a glove box.
