Description:
Laboratory of powder diffractometry is equipped with Philips PW1820 Automated Powder Diffractometer with the Bragg Brentano parafocusing geometry. It is used for qualitative and quantitative phase analysis of powder/polycrystalline specimens or compact samples. All measurements are done at room temperature. Powder samples can be measured using Si low background sample holder. X-Ray diffraction laboratory is oriented towards identification of constituents and crystalline structure of minerals, corrosion products and inorganic materials.
