Description:
The key main part of the laboratory in the intelligent assembly cell that is composed by an industrial Cartesian robot and Shelf-Storage supported by a manipulator. Several types of experiments are carried out in the laboratory:
- Programming of industrial robots and a manipulators
- Automation of assembly/disassembly
- Application of mechatronic principles in the field of technological devices
- Design and development of mechatronic systems upon the use of pneumatics and electropneumatics
- Design and development of end effectors
- Automatic Design and development of clamping fixtures
- Material flow design and analysis in assembly/production systems
- Analysis, comparison and optimization of material flow scenarios using simulation
- Analysis and improvement of the cell’s layout
- Manipulation and assembly supported by Machine vision
