The aim of the educational activity
|
Modular educational programs Module Slovak Language Intensive level A1 - B1 (640 hours, price 2560 EUR) + registration fee Module Intensive Slovak Language level A1 - B2 (1000 hours, price 4000 EUR) + registration fee Gain the ability to communicate in the Slovak language according to the Common European Framework of Reference and to develop language competencies in vocational training. The registration fee is 150 EUR. |

Form of Teaching
|
Classes take place 5 hours a day, 25 hours a week (Monday to Friday). One class takes 45 minutes. Group daily presentation form of teaching. Teachers of Slovak language courses are qualified to teach Slovak as a foreign language also to teach English, German and Russian. Students are required to begin their studies in October In case they are not able to start their studies on time, they can request a postponement of studies until the next academic year. |

Tuition fee |
Tuition cannot be paid in installments, is paid by bank transfer from the account to the account of LC ILLL STU. If a student is unable to start studying, he / she can request a refund of the tuition fee, the cancellation fee is 15% of the paid tuition fee. The registration fee of 120 EUR is non-refundable. Exams are held in written and oral form in the winter semester - semester exams and at the end of the summer semester - final exams. (level A1, A2, B1, B2) |

Vocational training
|
Students have the opportunity to supplement and expand their knowledge of technical subjects according to the chosen field and pay extra hours from professional modules. · Module MATHEMATICS (52 hours – 182 EUR) · Module PHYSICS basics (26 hours – 91 EUR) · Module PHYSICS Technical 1 (22 hours – 77 EUR) · Module PHYSICS Technical 2 (28 hours – 98 EUR) · Module CHEMISTRY (40 hours – 140 EUR) · Module STATICS (54 hours – 189 EUR) · Module ELASTICITY (28 hours – 98 EUR) · MODULE WORK with PC (22 hours – 77 EUR) · Module ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING (24 hours – 84 EUR ) · Module GEOLOGY (24 hours – 84 EUR) Professionally technical focused modules on basic technical subjects (modified in Slovak and English). Guarantors and lecturers of professional modules are teachers, experts and researchers from individual faculties of STU, who actively speak foreign languages (English, German and Russian). |

Enrollment for the study |
Enrollment for the study is until September 30. In exceptional and justified cases, enrollment is possible in the first week of October. It is not possible to start studying after this date. The student can request a postponement of studies until the next academic year, or refund of the tuition fee (there is a cancellation fee). In the event, that a student requests a refund of tuition fees (refusal of visa / temporary stay for the purpose of study, non-enrollment in September), the cancellation fee is 15% of the amount of tuition fee paid. The registration fee of 150 € is non-refundable. |

- Valid passport with type D visas or confirmation of application for temporary residence at the Aliens Police of the Slovak Republic / Embassy of the Slovak Republic Abroad SR, or a valid document of temporary residence in the Slovak Republic, or ID of a citizen of the European Union. - Residence permit for the purpose of study is valid until the end of the academic year to 31.8., after admission to a university, it is necessary to extend the validity of the Residence permit at the Aliens Police in the Slovak Republic. |

Opportunities to work during the study |
Students can work part-time (only a certain number of hours per week), not at study time. The average absence from education for the observed period is 20%. |
