On 26 April 2016, His Excellency J. E. Zvi Aviner Vapni, the Israeli Ambassador operating in Slovakia since the end of 2015, was received by Prof. R. Redhammer, Rector of the Slovak University of Technology. The Ambassador is a graduate of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
The aim of the visit was to inform the Ambassador about the STU performance within the Slovak and international context. Rector Redhammer, vice-Rector Stanko and the Ambassador discussed the possibilities for cooperation of the Israeli and Slovak universities in the field of education and research, and participation of researchers and teachers in possible future joint projects.
